We have spaces suitable for both small and large flea markets. Some of our common areas are available to tenants free of charge, while we charge a fee for others. If your flea market meets certain criteria, you may be able to use one of these spaces free of charge as well.
To borrow facilities for free, you must:
- More tenants are invited to participate. It’s a good idea to invite tenants from your residential area—and perhaps even more, depending on the size of the venue. You may not use the premises free of charge for private events.
- The marketing for the flea market is aimed at Skövdebostäder’s tenants. For larger events open to the general public, a permit from the police is required.
- There are at least three of you organizing the event.
- You should expect some preparation and follow-up work.

Digital Alternatives
An alternative to an in-person flea market is to use digital platforms to sell your items. On Facebook, there may be buy-and-sell groups in your local area—or why not start your own if there isn’t one? Even if you also have a physical flea market, this can be a great complement, where you and your neighbors can later sell items that didn’t sell during the flea market event.
