As a municipally owned public housing company, Skövdebostäder’s mission is to provide safe, sustainable, and affordable housing for everyone. In the coming years, the company will continue to focus on efficiency and sustainability in all processes, property maintenance and development, and on promoting safety in its residential areas. All of this is grounded in strong profitability over time. Great emphasis is placed on social responsibility, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction, as well as contributing to Skövde’s growth and sustainability. All of this is summarized in Skövdebostäder’s business plan for 2024–2027.
The business plan was developed in collaboration with the board of directors and employees. The company has conducted workshops, reviewed statistics and surveys, and analyzed interview data from internal and external stakeholders. The business plan is based on the strategic decision made by the board of directors this past spring, and it clearly outlines the company’s path for the next four years. This strategic direction can be summarized in three focus areas: strong profitability over time; development, maintenance, and production; and safety and sustainability.
Commitment and focus on customers, employees, and Skövde
In its efforts to contribute to positive development for the company, its tenants, the municipal group, and the City of Skövde , Skövdebostäder will have three clear focus areas. Best for Customers, Best for Employees, and Best for Skövde. The new business plan picks up where the old one left off, and what is now being clarified is Skövdebostäder’s contribution to Skövde’s growth, development, and long-term sustainability. Our most important mission is to provide safe, sustainable, and affordable homes for the residents of Skövde. It is also important that we contribute to making Skövde an attractive place to live and work by serving as a catalyst for new construction, setting an example in sustainability, and collaborating to create safe neighborhoods.
Priorities for 2024
The business plan covers the next four years, but also aims for longer-term goals, particularly in the areas of climate and sustainability. Sustainability is also a priority area for 2024, with the company’s sustainability strategy being translated into concrete roadmaps. In addition, efforts related to safety and security will be strengthened and expanded, as will projects that enable the company to deliver even greater value to its tenants.
