If you live in one of Sk\u00f6vdebost\u00e4der\u2019s student apartments, please read this.<\/em><\/p><p>To rent a student apartment from Sk\u00f6vdebost\u00e4der, you must be able to present a valid certificate of registration for the current semester and an approved study result from the previous semester corresponding to at least 15 credits at the University of Sk\u00f6vde.<\/p><p>To ensure that you as a student meet the study requirement, study checks are carried out once per semester, and it is now time for the spring study check.<\/p><p>We will begin the study check during March and onwards.<\/p><h3>This is how the study check is carried out<\/h3><p>You will receive an email from the StudboAdmin system with instructions on how to log in and upload your documents. If you have used the system before, use your existing login details.<\/p><p>If you have not received an email, please check your junk or spam folder.<\/p><p>Once you have received the email, we ask you to upload your certificates in the system as soon as possible. You must upload both a certificate of registration and a transcript of records as PDF files. You can already prepare your documents for the study check. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skovdebostader.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/ladda-ner-intyg-fran-ladok-lathund-fran-skovdebostader.pdf\">We have prepared a guide how do download the certificates, but it is in Swedish &#8211; download the pdf<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p><p>When you have uploaded the correct certificates and meet our study requirements, you will receive a confirmation email from StudboAdmin stating that you have passed the study check.<\/p><p>If the certificates are incomplete or incorrect, or if any documentation is missing, you will instead receive an email with information about what needs to be supplemented.<\/p><p>It is important that you follow the instructions and meet the stated deadline. If the certificates are not uploaded on time or if the requirements are not met, you risk having your lease terminated.<\/p><h3>What happens if you miss the deadline?<\/h3><p>During the period when the checks are executed, reminders will be sent out. It is your responsibility to upload the requested certificates in the correct format and within the specified time limit.<\/p><p>If we do not receive complete and approved certificates in time, your student housing lease will be terminated. The notice of termination will be sent to you for digital signature, and the notice period is three full calendar months.<\/p><p>If your contract is terminated, or if you terminate your apartment lease yourself, due to not meeting the study requirements, you won\u2019t be able to apply for a new apartment right away. You must wait at least one semester before you can apply for a student apartment again.<\/p><p><strong>We accept the following:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>You are an active student at the University of Sk\u00f6vde and study at least 50%.<\/li><li>A valid certificate of registration for the current semester showing at least 15 higher education credits.<\/li><li>An approved transcript of results from the previous semester showing at least 15 higher education credits.<\/li><li>Doctoral studies, with a certificate showing at least 50% study activity.<\/li><li>Certificates uploaded as PDF files.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>We do not accept the following:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>If you are registered for fewer than 15 higher education credits per semester.<\/li><li>Studies at another university.<\/li><li>A study break.<\/li><li>YH programmes (higher vocational education).<\/li><li>Komvux studies (adult education).<\/li><li>Insufficient study results.<\/li><li>Certificates in the wrong file format.<\/li><li>Unclear or incomplete certificates.<\/li><li>Screenshots of certificates or study results.<\/li><li>Summer courses.<\/li><li>Distance learning courses.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Exemption from the study requirements<\/h3><p>You can apply for an exemption if you do not meet our study requirements. An exemption is an exception to the standard requirements and is granted only after an individual assessment.<\/p><p>You may be granted a maximum of two exemptions during your entire tenancy period, one semester per occasion.<\/p><p><strong>How to apply for an exemption:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Your application must be complete and include certificates\/documentation supporting your reasons.<\/li><li>The application must be submitted before the study check<\/li><li>The exemption must be approved before the study check starts to be valid.<\/li><li>The processing time is approximately three weeks.<\/li><li>The application must be sent by email to <a href=\"mailto:uthyrning@skovdebostader.se\">uthyrning@skovdebostader.se<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><p>Please note that we cannot make a decision if the application is incomplete or if documentation is missing.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skovdebostader.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/dispensansokan-student.pdf\">Use this form to apply for an excemption.
