Eldaren Skövdebostäder’s latest project in the new, exciting Skövde Science City neighborhood. Here, you’ll enjoy space-efficient living in an urban setting close to the city center, workplaces, gathering places, and amenities.

Near Bangårdsgatan, in the heart of Science City, we’re building 134 new homes—tailored to meet the needs of the modern, urban household. Here, you can live sustainably in a space-efficient and carefully planned apartment.

Simple, City-Center Living

Eldaren housing close to the city, not far from both the travel center and the city center with all it has to offer. In addition to the city’s vibrancy, you’ll also find green spaces in the form of a courtyard, rooftop terraces, and the nearby Boulognerparken. The university, Science Park Skövde, and other employers are also just a short distance away. A grocery store and a parking garage are set to be built right nearby.

Sustainability at Eldaren

Skövdebostäder has ambitious sustainability goals, and one of the ways we’re working toward them is by making conscious material choices in our construction to reduce the project’s climate impact. We install solar panels on the roofs and also offer laundry lounges—a modern take on the traditional laundry room. The location near the city center, with easy access to the city’s services, entertainment, and public transportation, makes car-free living possible for those who want it.

Commercial premises

Skövde Science City is creating a vibrant, dense urban environment with mixed-use neighborhoods. We are building a total of four commercial spaces in our residential buildings, one of which is suitable for a restaurant or café.

The Apartments at Eldaren

At Eldaren , you Eldaren a comfortable everyday life in a newly built, well-planned rental apartment. Here, you’ll make the most of your living space—and some apartments even offer innovative solutions for flexible living.

Most apartments have their own balcony or patio. We’re also creating outdoor spaces in the form of rooftop terraces and a courtyard.

Flexible floor plan

In the Eldaren neighborhood, we Eldaren a new floor plan—a 2.5-room apartment with a kitchen. We’ve enlisted the help of QPG Architects to create a flexible and compact living space. With sliding doors, you can easily convert your two-room apartment into a smaller three-room apartment and, for example, create a small children’s room or home office—all depending on your household’s needs.

About Skövde Science City

Skövde Science City is now taking shape in the Mariesjö area, where residential units are interspersed with commercial spaces, gathering places, and services to create a vibrant neighborhood. This project is one of the largest ever undertaken, and the transformation is expected to continue through 2040.
