Living in a rental apartment has many advantages! With over 5,300 apartments to choose from, you can rent a place in the city center or close to nature. There are apartments in multi-family buildings, townhouses, or row houses. High up in a building you can have a balcony with a great view or if you prefer you can live close to the ground with your own patio.

You can also choose to live in a newly built, modern apartment or one with old-world charm. Through the tenant-managed apartment maintenance program (HLU) and your choices for apartment amenities, you decide for yourself just how modern and well-equipped your home will be.
Time left
In an apartment with its own yard, the amount of work you have to do is relatively small. But in most apartments, you don’t have to worry at all about yard work or shoveling snow. And you never have to worry about fixing leaky faucets, a broken refrigerator, or maintaining common areas. Our skilled building managers take care of that. They’ll also help you with many other aspects of your living situation. That leaves you with more time for other things.
High availability
Apartments with slightly better accessibility—such as elevators and slightly wider doors—are available in many of our communities. You’ll get a little extra luxury if you choose one of our special senior living communities. These also offer a unique sense of community, outdoor spaces, and an affordable guest room, so you can live in a slightly smaller space while still being able to host guests.
Student Apartments
Skövdebostäder currently has nearly 900 student apartments. All are centrally located, and most are right next to the University of Skövde.

As a tenant of Skövdebostäder, you’ll receive the Tenant Card, which offers discounts at many local businesses plus a number of other benefits. We also organize our own recreational activities—sometimes in the neighborhood and often at Aspö gård. There, and in many of our neighborhoods, you can also rent a party venue when you’re hosting a large number of guests.
