How the housing queue works
To rent an apartment from Skövdebostäder, you must be on our housing waiting list. You can join the waiting list if you are at least 15 years old. You can join the waiting list here on our website by selecting “Register” on My Pages.
You can create a shortcut to My Pages on your phone by adding My Pages to your home screen. This will make it easier for you to access the page.
A point about dan
You earn one point for every day you're on the housing waiting list; for example, after one year on the list, you'll have accumulated 365 points.
Keep an eye on the website
Available apartments are always listed here on the website for at least 8 days. If you’d like, you can sign up for email alerts for apartments you’re interested in. You can specify this on your expression of interest form.
Who gets the apartment?
When you express interest in a vacant apartment on My Pages, your points are compared with those of others who have applied for the same apartment. Usually, five people receive an offer and are expected to come view the apartment before accepting or declining it. The person with the most points who accepts within a week gets to sign the lease for the apartment.
Are you a student at the University of Skövde?
Vacant student apartments are rented out according to specific rules for student housing.
Storage room
Advertised storage units are also rented out online, and like apartments, they are listed for eight days. Tenants (regardless of residential area) who have applied for a vacant storage unit have priority over applicants who are not tenants, regardless of whether they have more or fewer points. After that, applicants are ranked based on their points.
Commercial premises
Skövdebostäder also rents out spaces to individuals, businesses, and organizations. You can also submit an expression of interest for this under " My Pages." The rental of spaces is not based on queue points , many other factors come into play.
Parking Lots
Our garages, carports, and parking spaces are primarily rented out to our existing tenants through a special waiting list, which you can also find on " My Pages " if you are a tenant.
Garden plots
Our garden plots at Aspö gård primarily Aspö gård out to our current tenants through a special waiting list, which you can also find on My Pages. When there is a cottage on the plot, it is sold by the current tenant, and in that case, the plot is not primarily rented out based on queue points.
