A shared mission – many different professional roles

For over 80 years, Skövdebostäder has provided safe, sustainable, and affordable housing for everyone. Our public housing mission is just as urgent and important today as it was when we started. With us, people have a home! That mission comes with a great deal of responsibility. Through a strong, long-term commitment to our properties, neighborhoods, and the city as a whole—and through good relationships with our tenants and the community—we contribute to the positive development of a sustainable and safe Skövde.

Over forty different professional roles

Skövdebostäder has over forty different job roles. We offer positions in areas such as property management, construction, electrical and energy services, HR and finance, customer service, leasing, and communications. However, most of these positions are in our Boservice department—such as neighborhood managers and environmental coordinators.

As a neighborhood manager, you’ll provide excellent service to our tenants and address minor issues and defects in the properties. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that the indoor environments are welcoming and well-maintained.

As a groundskeeper, you will take care of both outdoor and indoor areas to create a pleasant and well-maintained living environment. The position involves caring for plants, flower beds, and lawns, as well as cleaning stairwells and common areas.

Summer Jobs and Seasonal Employment

Every summer, we hire summer workers and vacation replacements. The job involves taking care of our properties, both inside and out—perfect for anyone who enjoys hands-on work.

A typical workday might include, for example, cleaning stairwells, pulling weeds, mowing the lawn, picking up trash in the area, as well as talking to tenants and making sure everything is in order.

To work for us during the summer, you must be at least 16 years old. For seasonal work, the minimum age is 18, and a Class B driver’s license is required. Recruitment for summer workers and vacation replacements begins every year in January.
