The rent applies to the period from August 2026 to July 2027. The rent is negotiated annually in accordance with the applicable negotiation procedure between AB Skövdebostäder and the Skövde Student Housing Council.
To express interest in a student apartment, you must be admitted to the University of Skövde and be enrolled in at least 15 higher education credits per semester. Please note that distance learning does not meet the requirements for renting a student apartment. To sign a lease, you must be able to present a registration certificate. If you have recently been admitted and have not yet registered, your admission letter will be accepted as confirmation. When moving within Skövdebostäder, you must be able to show both a registration certificate and a transcript. Doctoral students must be able to demonstrate a study load of at least 50 percent per semester. If you haven’t received your admission letter yet, you’ll need to wait to express interest in student apartments until you’ve received it. Study checks are conducted once per semester to ensure that you, as a tenant, meet the study requirements. There will be a 1.6% rent increase effective August 1, 2020.
