We are looking for an Operations Manager in the field of control and regulation

Are you a service-oriented control systems technician who enjoys problem-solving and keeping things organized? If so, you could be our next team member.

As an Operations Manager, you will be part of the Property Development department, which consists of construction project managers, property managers, tradespeople, and technicians with various areas of expertise. This is an independent role in which you plan your own day in consultation with colleagues and tenants. We are therefore looking for someone with prior experience as a technician specializing in control and regulation systems.

Job Responsibilities

As an operations manager, you will be responsible for the systems related to property monitoring and IMD.

The job is varied, as it involves a wide range of new and older properties. Your responsibilities will include working with:

  • Operation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all existing property monitoring systems.
  • Daily review of our control and regulatory systems.
  • Periodic review of the IMD.
  • Troubleshooting communication between network-connected devices.
  • Contract awards and contractor management.
  • Energy efficiency improvements and operational optimization of the systems.
  • Perform routine and scheduled installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Involved in the implementation of renovation projects related to the HVAC maintenance plan.
  • Support for the company in new construction and renovation projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience with operations and programming in Siemens Desigo CC.
  • At least a three-year technical high school diploma, as well as post-secondary education in a technical field or experience in technical fields that we deem equivalent to post-secondary education
  • You must have substantial work experience in the field of building automation.
  • A habit of keeping documentation organized and up to date, as well as revising it.
  • Be responsible for monitoring and continuous improvement in the technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BACnet/Modbus programming for SAIA and Siemens PX.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP-based communication and computer networks.
  • Experience with Elvaco Metering.
  • Knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation.
  • Project Management.

Education and Skills

You always ensure that you perform your duties with precision and high quality. A Class B driver’s license is required.
