When will you be upgrading the fiber network, and in which buildings?
The upgrades will take place in September, as scheduled. You will receive a letter specifying the date the fiber network will be installed in your building. This information will also be posted at the top of My Pages.
What should we do with our old TV box from Allente?
If you have the free service—and do not plan to continue using Allente’s paid services—you’ll need to return the old TV box after fiber is installed in your building. Bring the old TV box to Skövdebostäder’s Bobutik at Drottninggatan 2A. This does not apply to residents of Aspö, Fältspaten Tyr . If you live in a senior housing complex, you can instead return your TV box to your housing manager.
This is what the TV box looks like. There are two different versions that have been distributed in different batches, but it is always black with the Allente logo on it.
When is the latest I need to return my box?
You must return your Allente box during the month of October.
What does switching fiber providers mean for me as a tenant?
If you currently use the internet, TV, or phone service via the fiber network, you’ll be able to continue using these services as usual. If you want to order or change your services after the switch, you can do so through Zitius’s ordering portal, Zmarket.se. You’ll have access to an open network where you can choose the service(s) that best suit your needs from one or more service providers for a fee.
When the switchover takes place, there will be a brief interruption in services such as internet, TV, or phone service provided via the fiber-optic network. Services will be restored gradually on the day of the switchover until 6:00 p.m.
The services aren't working after the switch—what should I do?
First, restart your equipment. If that doesn't help, call your service provider.
Will the cost of broadband, TV, and phone service increase now?
If you have a fixed-term contract, your rate should not change. If you have a rolling contract, your service provider may choose to change your rate whenever they wish and deem it an appropriate time to do so. If this happens, we recommend that you visit zmarket.se to see what offers are available and possibly switch to a provider that offers better terms.
What will happen for me, since I have the free TV service through Allente’s Must Carry package?
The contract stipulates that Telia will provide the free TV service currently offered by Allente. The channels included are SVT1, SVT2, SVT Barn, SVT 24, Kunskapskanalen, TV4, and Axess TV. Learn more about the TV and streaming Start package at telia.se/produkt/kollektiv-start.
Anyone who wants to continue receiving the free TV service must activate it at telia.se/aktivera. The free TV service can also be ordered by phone by contacting Telia at 020-20 20 70. Tell them you want to order Telia TV and Streaming Start. You’ll also need to provide your home address and apartment number. Telia always verifies its customers’ identities; if you cannot identify yourself using BankID, you can instead request a personal code to be sent to your home.
Do I have to sign up for broadband to get the free TV service?
No, the free TV service works without broadband. When you’re ready to activate the TV service and aren’t interested in broadband, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Checkout.” Do not use the “Buy broadband and activate TV service” button. Currently (August 26, 2025), the Telia store on Elins Esplanad has incorrect information in its systems and therefore cannot assist with activation. We are working to resolve this issue.
How do I activate free broadband?
You can activate a free2/2 Mbit broadband service through Bredband 2, Bahnhof, or Junet. To do this, go to zmarket.se and select the "Broadband" menu.
I’m currently under contract for my current subscription—what happens to it?
You’ll be able to transfer your current services and continue with the same subscription plan you have now. When your contract expires, you can check our ordering portal, Zmarket.se, to see if they’ll accept a different offer.
When can I start ordering services on Zmarket?
You can order services at zmarket.se two weeks before the change takes place at your property.
I live at Fältspaten Tyr and currently have a TV package through Telenor that will no longer be available. What happens now?
It’s true that Telenor will stop providing the TV packageon October 2. At that time, we’ll reduce your rent by 149 kronor per month and give you the freedom to choose whichever TV service you want. You can activate free TV service through Telia and get seven channels (SVT1, SVT 2, SVT Barn, SVT 24, Kunskapskanalen, TV4, and Axess TV), as well as Telia Play and streaming. There, you can also add the “Mellan” channel package for 149 kronor, which will give you the same selection of channels you have today.
Why is Skövdebostäder switching fiber network providers?
Our current fiber agreements withGlobal Connect and ITUX (at Aspö Eko-logi) will expire in the fall of 2025. We conducted a procurement process in which Telia, under the Zitius brand, was awarded the contract.
As a tenant, will I notice the switch?
If you currently use the internet, TV, or phone services via the fiber-optic network, you’ll be able tocontinue using these services as usual. You may experience a brief disruption on the same day the switch to the new network takes place. If your services aren’t working after the switch, we recommend that you first try restarting your equipment. If it still doesn’t work, you should contact your service provider.
