Talk about climate change with your family!
The books are distributed in both print and digital formats to all middle school students in the municipality of Skövde. The Nature & Environment book is a three-part educational series in which each volume is tailored to the curriculum and the knowledge level of the respective grade and, together, they provide a comprehensive, climate-smart education for the students.
Another new feature this year is a digital family theme. The Family theme encourages further discussions within the family about how we can live more sustainably in our daily lives. The idea is for you, as a parent, to read and work together with your child. This supports your child’s learning and encourages good study habits. At the same time, as a parent, you gain insight into learning for sustainable development.
All you need is a computer, tablet, or cell phone to follow along, read, watch videos, and answer questions. Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera or follow the link miljobockerna.se to easily download the Family Theme.

Enter the Reuse Contest—Your Chance to Win a Gift Card at Matsmart.se
Now you and your family can compete to see who can come up with the best upcycling idea. It could be anything from using a can as a planter for snow peas to altering Dad’s shirt into a dress for your daughter. Maybe you spruced up Grandma’s old dresser—which was headed for the dump—and gave it a new lease on life in your son’s room? The possibilities are endless; only your imagination sets the limits.
How do we submit our entry?
Sendthe photoanddescription toinfo@nmboken.se or post them on Svenska Kunskapsförlaget's Facebook page.
The competition jury consists of staff members of *Natur & miljöboken*.

Family entries must be emailed or posted on Facebook by the last day of each month to be eligible to enter the contest. The contest runs through December 31, 2024.
