Here's how residential rents are raised:
Kurortsvägen 10: 2.5 percent
All other student areas: 5 percent
We are raising the monthly parking fee to 190 kronor. The full increase will not take effect immediately—instead, we will raise the fee by 10 kronor per month starting August 1.
That's why we're raising the rent
When we negotiate with the Skövde Student Housing Council, we take many different factors into account. The reason we are raising the rent is primarily due to our rising costs. Among other things, we are facing higher interest rates and increased charges for electricity, water, waste disposal, operations, and maintenance.
As a company, we are constantly implementing cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements to keep expenses down. Thanks to this, and the company’s strong and stable financial foundation, we are able to limit the rent increase for 2023—and it will not be as high as it would have had to be if we had considered only the actual cost increases.
