There are schools and preschools right next to Havstena. The immediate area includes a health center with a pharmacy and a large shopping center, but if you’d still like to go into the city center, you can walk or take the city bus, which runs along the entire length of Havstenavägen.
In 2019, the area was redeveloped, and a new high-rise building with 44 apartments was built in the heart of Havstena. The new building was given the address Havstenavägen 20; it was constructed using energy-efficient passive house technology and features solar panels on the roof. All apartments have their own balcony or patio.
