The sustainability report is based on Vision Skövde 2040, the City Council’s goals, and the municipality’s policy on sustainable development.

It creates transparency and a common foundation for continued development, where we can benefit from collaboration and our shared strengths. Central Collaboration
The companies that make up the group have different missions but all play an important role in Skövde’s development. Through their work on the first joint sustainability report, they have also taken significant steps forward together—not only in terms of results but also in terms of collaboration.
– The journey leading up to the report has been central. The work has been characterized by a bold, creative, and inquisitive approach, with experiences and perspectives shared across organizational boundaries. This has contributed to deeper collaboration and a greater consensus on goals and priorities. “This is extremely valuable for the residents of Skövde,” says Johan Rahmberg, City Manager of Skövde Municipality and CEO of the parent company Skövde Stadshus AB.
Work is now continuing with a full focus on translating these insights into practical action and, together, building on the foundation that has been laid for a sustainable shared future.
