Summer Activities for Children

Good news for all kids—we’re organizing free summer activities again this year! Here, kids can have fun together and get some exercise during their summer break

This year, we’re offering ball games, family fitness, and “Hand the Ball,” a program organized by IFK Skövde Handball. The activities are free, and no advance registration is required. Everyone is welcome—so you don’t have to be a tenant in the area to participate.

Ball Fun

Together with Skövde KIK and IFK Skövde Soccer, we’re organizing a ball-play event. Children ages 7–12 can play ball games and meet other kids in the area.

Käpplunda park: June 19, July 4, August 8 (Time: 6:00 p.m.)
Lillegården Lawn: June 21, July 6, August 10 (Time: 6:00 p.m.)

Family Gym Class

Friskis & Svettis is hosting a family fitness class for the whole family. Children ages 2–6 are welcome to participate with a parent.

Käpplunda park: June 25 and August 19 (Time: 11:00 a.m.)

Hand the ball

IFK Skövde Handball organizes “Hand the Ball,” a program designed to encourage more children and young people to be physically active. Representatives from IFK Skövde Handball lead the activities, which involve moving around with a ball.

Södra Ryd's artificial turf field: June 19, June 20, June 26, and June 27 (Time: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)
