Study Progress Check Dates
Study progresschecks are conducted on three different dates, depending on which residential area you live in.

Exemptions from Academic Progress Reviews
You are exempt from the spring academic progress reviews if:
- You have terminated your contract
- You have been assigned housing through the university
- You have been approved to sublet
- You have been granted an exemption
- You have recently moved into your home (starting in February) or moved to a new apartment
Here’s how it works
On the date of each academic progress review, you will receive an email from the StudboAdmin system. If you haven’t received an email, please check your spam folder. Once you’ve received the email, we ask that you upload your certificates as soon as possible. If you do not already have login credentials, you’ll first need to register an account; you’ll receive a welcome email with instructions. You’ll then upload your registration certificate and transcript as PDF files to the system. Screenshots are not accepted. You can start preparing your documents for the academic progress review now.
Exemption
If you do not meet the academic requirements, you can apply for an exemption. A certificate from your academic advisor is required, and we approve a maximum of two exemptions during your entire stay. If you have questions about the certificate, contact your academic advisor. The exemption application and accompanying certificate must be sent to uthyrning@skovdebostader.se before the academic review begins in your area. The processing time is approximately three weeks.
Don’t meet the requirements?
If youalready know that you won’t meet the requirements for the academic review, you should give notice to terminate your lease with a 3-month notice period. The easiest way to do this is on My Pages under “My Contracts” and “Terminate Contract.”

Spring Study Checks
To rent a student apartment through Skövdebostäder, you must present a valid admission letter or registration certificate for this term and an approved transcript from the previous term showing at least 15 credits from the University of Skövde. To ensure that you meet the academic requirement, academic reviews are conducted once per term, and it is now time for the spring 2025 reviews.
