Skövdebostäder can support various activities by providing recreational funding. This may take the form of resources such as facilities, money, or services. The activity must have a clear connection to our philosophy and the purpose of resident involvement for neighbors in their residential area or within Skövdebostäder.
Criteria
If you have an idea for an activity and would like our support, you can submit an application for recreational funding. For the application to be approved, the activity must meet certain criteria. The purpose of the activity must be to promote a sense of community or increase safety in the neighborhood, and/or contribute to a vibrant neighborhood.
The activity should be open to everyone in the residential area who belongs to a specific target group—if one exists (for example, women, young people, older adults, or residents of one or more specific residential areas).
For the application to be approved, the following applies:
- The applicant must have a lease with Skövdebostäder
- That the event is held at one of our properties
- That the activity does not cause disturbances in the residential area
- That the activity is nonpartisan
- That the activity does not result in financial gain for the applicant
The amount of support is determined based on the number of participants.
Each application is evaluated individually and on a case-by-case basis.
Skövdebostäder has a separate budget for recreational activities, allocated over the course of a year. Since applications are submitted on an ongoing basis, applications may be denied if the allocated funds have been exhausted during the current year.
Follow-up
To ensure that the activity has achieved its intended goal, we would like to see a follow-up and evaluation afterward, which also includes the number of participants. We would also like to see a financial report with receipts and/or invoices for expenses as well as any revenue.

You will be notified that your application is being processed within one month. You will receive a response regarding whether your application has been approved or denied within two months.
