You will be able to move into the apartment starting at 2:00 p.m. on the day your lease takes effect. If that day falls on a weekend or a holiday, the move-in date will be the next business day.
If you and the outgoing tenant have reached a different agreement, you should still contact your building manager, who will hand over the keys and conduct a cleaning inspection. If the building manager is unable to assist you earlier, you may exchange keys directly with each other, but keep in mind that you must approve the cleaning yourself, since Skövdebostäder has not conducted a cleaning inspection of the apartment.
- You can pick up your keys from your building manager by presenting your lease or ID. At that time, you’ll also receive information about your neighborhood and your apartment. Call a few days in advance to schedule a time to pick up your keys.
- If you have received the keys directly from the outgoing tenant, you must sign the key receipt with your building manager as soon as possible.
- Avoid parking tickets! Your neighborhood representative has a temporary parking permit
that you can borrowwhile you're moving.
