New Procedure for Reporting Faults

This fall, Skövdebostäder is changing its procedure for handling repair requests. Previously, residents were directed to individual neighborhood managers. Now, repair requests must instead be submitted digitally or to the customer service center. Skövdebostäder is now implementing a centralized repair request system.

The reason for this change is to provide better service and feedback, as well as to free up time for the building managers. In most cases, it is the building managers who fix the problems in the apartments—it is the way reports are submitted that is changing.

A major benefit of this change is that it will make it easier for you, as a tenant, to track your case on My Pages. There, for example, you can read comments from the person handling the issue. You’ll also receive an email when your case changes status—for example, when work begins or when the issue has been resolved.

Two ways to report a problem

There are two ways to report a problem.

1 You can submit a repair request 24 hours a day by logging in to My Pages. Under “Apartment Contract,” select “Create New Request” and then “Repair Request via My Pages.” Here, you can describe the problem and indicate whether you have pets and whether Skövdebostäder is permitted to enter your home using the master key.

2 On weekdays (excluding holidays) between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the customer service center accepts fault reports at 0500-47 74 00. You’ll be able to speak with one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives and describe your issue. You’ll also be asked whether you have any pets and if we may enter your home using the master key.
