För få hyra en studentbostad hos Skövdebostäder behöver du uppvisa ett giltigt registreringsintyg för denna termin och ett godkänt studieresultat från föregående termin som motsvarar minst 15 högskolepoäng från Högskolan i Skövde.
För att säkerställa att du som studerar uppfyller studiekravet görs studiekontroller en gång per termin och nu är det dags för vårens kontroller.
Vi påbörjar studiekontrollen under mars månad och framåt.
Så här utförs studiekontrollen
Du kommer att få ett mejl från systemet StudboAdmin med instruktioner för hur du loggar in och laddar upp dina dokument. Har du använt systemet tidigare använder du dina befintliga uppgifter.
Om du inte har fått något mejl, vänligen kontrollera din skräppost.
När du har tagit emot mejlet ber vi dig att så snart som möjligt ladda upp dina intyg i systemet. Du ska ladda upp både registreringsintyg och resultatintyg som PDF-filer. Du kan redan nu förbereda dina handlingar inför studiekontrollen.
När du har laddat upp korrekta intyg och uppfyller våra studiekrav får du ett bekräftelsemejl från StudboAdmin om att du är godkänd i studiekontrollen.
Om intygen är ofullständiga, felaktiga eller om något underlag saknas, kommer du i stället att få ett mejl med information om vad som behöver kompletteras.
Det är viktigt att du följer instruktionerna och håller angiven deadline. Om intygen inte laddas upp i tid eller om kraven inte uppfylls riskerar du att bli uppsagd.
Vad händer om du missar deadline?
Under kontrollperioden skickas påminnelser ut. Det är ditt ansvar att ladda upp begärda intyg i rätt format och inom angiven tidsfrist.
Om vi inte får in kompletta och godkända intyg i tid kommer ditt hyresavtal att sägas upp. Uppsägningen skickas till dig för digital signering och uppsägningstiden är tre hela kalendermånader.
Om du blir uppsagd eller själv säger upp din lägenhet på grund av att du inte uppfyller studiekraven, kan du inte söka en ny lägenhet direkt. Du behöver vänta minst en termin innan du kan söka en studentlägenhet igen.
Detta godkänner vi:
- Du är aktiv student vid Högskolan i Skövde och studerar minst 50 procent
- Giltigt registreringsintyg för aktuell termin med minst 15 högskolepoäng
- Godkänt resultatintyg från föregående termin med minst 15 högskolepoäng
- Doktorandstudier med intyg som visar minst 50 procent studieaktivitet
- Intyg uppladdade som PDF-filer
Detta godkänner vi inte:
- Om du är registrerad på mindre än 15 högskolepoäng per termin
- Studier vid annat lärosäte
- Studieuppehåll
- YH-utbildningar
- Komvuxstudier
- Otillräckliga studieresultat
- Intyg i fel filformat
- Otydliga eller ofullständiga intyg
- Skärmdumpar av intyg eller studieresultat
- Sommarkurser
- Distanskurser
Dispens från studiekraven
Du kan ansöka om dispens om du inte uppfyller våra studiekrav. Dispens är ett undantag från ordinarie krav och beviljas endast efter individuell prövning.
Du kan beviljas högst två dispenser under din hela boendetid, en termin per tillfälle.
Så ansöker du om dispens:
- Ansökan måste vara komplett och innehålla intyg som styrker dina skäl.
- Ansökan ska skickas in innan studiekontrollen påbörjas.
- Dispensen måste vara godkänd innan studiekontrollen startar för att vara giltig.
- Handläggningstiden är cirka tre veckor.
- Ansökan ska skickas via e-post till uthyrning@skovdebostader.se.
Observera att vi inte kan fatta beslut om ansökan är ofullständig eller om intyg saknas.

Dispens beviljas vid:
- Uteblivet studieresultat
- Arvoderat heltidsarbete på Studentkåren
- Föräldraledighet (kan beviljas max ett år)
- Medicinska skäl
- Frivillig militärtjänstgöring
- Individuellt kursupplägg – Mastersprogram
Alla ansökningar prövas individuellt och beslut fattas utifrån inlämnade handlingar.
Dispens beviljas inte vid:
- Missade eller underkända tentor
- Avbrutna studier
- Studieuppehåll
Uppfyller du inte studiekraven?
Om du redan nu vet att du inte kommer att uppfylla kraven inför kommande studiekontroll behöver du själv säga upp ditt hyresavtal.
Uppsägningstiden är tre kalendermånader och du gör uppsägningen enklast via Mina sidor under ”Mina kontrakt” och ”Kontraktsuppsägning”.

Undantag från studiekontrollen
Du undantas från studiekontrollen om:
- Du redan har sagt upp ditt hyresavtal
- Du har nyligen flyttat in eller bytt lägenhet inom Skövdebostäder
- Du har en godkänd andrahandsuthyrning
- Du har beviljats dispens
Time for the spring study check of 2026
Our spring study check is now starting. If you live in one of Skövdebostäder’s student apartments, please read this.
To rent a student apartment from Skövdebostäder, you must be able to present a valid certificate of registration for the current semester and an approved study result from the previous semester corresponding to at least 15 credits at the University of Skövde.
To ensure that you as a student meet the study requirement, study checks are carried out once per semester, and it is now time for the spring study check.
We will begin the study check during March and onwards.
This is how the study check is carried out
You will receive an email from the StudboAdmin system with instructions on how to log in and upload your documents. If you have used the system before, use your existing login details.
If you have not received an email, please check your junk or spam folder.
Once you have received the email, we ask you to upload your certificates in the system as soon as possible. You must upload both a certificate of registration and a transcript of records as PDF files. You can already prepare your documents for the study check.
When you have uploaded the correct certificates and meet our study requirements, you will receive a confirmation email from StudboAdmin stating that you have passed the study check.
If the certificates are incomplete or incorrect, or if any documentation is missing, you will instead receive an email with information about what needs to be supplemented.
It is important that you follow the instructions and meet the stated deadline. If the certificates are not uploaded on time or if the requirements are not met, you risk having your lease terminated.
What happens if you miss the deadline?
During the period when the checks are executed, reminders will be sent out. It is your responsibility to upload the requested certificates in the correct format and within the specified time limit.
If we do not receive complete and approved certificates in time, your student housing lease will be terminated. The notice of termination will be sent to you for digital signature, and the notice period is three full calendar months.
If your contract is terminated, or if you terminate your apartment lease yourself, due to not meeting the study requirements, you won’t be able to apply for a new apartment right away. You must wait at least one semester before you can apply for a student apartment again.
We accept the following:
- You are an active student at the University of Skövde and study at least 50%.
- A valid certificate of registration for the current semester showing at least 15 higher education credits.
- An approved transcript of results from the previous semester showing at least 15 higher education credits.
- Doctoral studies, with a certificate showing at least 50% study activity.
- Certificates uploaded as PDF files.
We do not accept the following:
- If you are registered for fewer than 15 higher education credits per semester.
- Studies at another university.
- A study break.
- YH programmes (higher vocational education).
- Komvux studies (adult education).
- Insufficient study results.
- Certificates in the wrong file format.
- Unclear or incomplete certificates.
- Screenshots of certificates or study results.
- Summer courses.
- Distance learning courses.
Exemption from the study requirements
You can apply for an exemption if you do not meet our study requirements. An exemption is an exception to the standard requirements and is granted only after an individual assessment.
You may be granted a maximum of two exemptions during your entire tenancy period, one semester per occasion.
How to apply for an exemption:
- Your application must be complete and include certificates/documentation supporting your reasons.
- The application must be submitted before the study check
- The exemption must be approved before the study check starts to be valid.
- The processing time is approximately three weeks.
- The application must be sent by email to uthyrning@skovdebostader.se.
Please note that we cannot make a decision if the application is incomplete or if documentation is missing.

An exemption may be granted in the following cases:
- No study results achieved.
- Paid full-time work at the Student Union.
- Parental leave (may be granted for a maximum of one year).
- Medical reasons.
- Voluntary military service.
- Individual course plan – Master’s programme.
All applications are assessed individually, and decisions are made based on the documents submitted.
An exemption is not granted in the following cases:
- Missed or failed exams.
- Discontinued studies.
- A study break.
Do you not meet the study requirements?
If you already know that you will not meet the requirements for the upcoming study check, you must terminate your tenancy agreement yourself.
The notice period is three calendar months, and you can terminate your contract most easily via My Pages under “My contracts” and “Contract termination”.

Exceptions from the study checks
You are exempt from the study check if:
- You have already terminated your tenancy agreement.
- You have recently moved in or changed apartments within Skövdebostäder.
- You have approval for subletting your apartment.
- You have been granted an exemption.
