Activity Guide
This service is primarily intended for people aged 65 and older who feel lonely and would like to connect with others in a social setting. The Activity Guide can help you find a suitable activity
for you. You can also receive support during your first visit to an activity.
Support for Family Members/Seniors
You may be a life partner, spouse, child, sibling, friend, or neighbor. As a family member, you may need help and support in your situation if you have a loved one who is unable to manage their daily life on their own due to age-related frailty or illness. Give us a call, and we’ll help you find the support that’s right for you in your situation.
Dementia Coordinator
This service is available to support people living with dementia as well as their family members. Please feel free to contact the dementia coordinator early in the course of the disease. For many people, being prepared and knowing who to turn to for help and support when questions or situations arise provides a sense of security.

Fixar-Malte can help you with simple household tasks that might pose a fall risk. Suitable tasks include changing light bulbs, hanging curtains, or other tasks where you risk falling or injuring yourself. The service is free of charge, but you’ll need to pay for any materials yourself. Fixar-Malte does not perform plumbing work, electrical installations, outdoor work, window cleaning, housekeeping, or painting.
The Golden Edge
This is for anyone who would appreciate some company for a while—during a walk or while running an errand. Perhaps you live alone and find it difficult to get out and meet other people.
Personal Safety Alarm
A personal safety alarm is a service you can sign up for through the City of Skövde, which provides assistance in an emergency—for example, if you were to fall or in the event of other sudden, unforeseen incidents. Both stationary and mobile personal safety alarms are available.
