Applies to work that we initiate
When we or our contractors need to enter your apartment to perform work—for example, to replace a smoke detector—we must have your approval as a tenant. Your approval pertains to whether we may use a so-called master key to enter and carry out the work even if you are not at home.
Here's how we'll proceed:
- First, you'll receive an information slip in your mailbox explaining what work will be done, by whom, and when.
- You'll receive a text message with a link asking if it’s okay for us to use the master key. Click the link and submit your response.
- We need a response from you so that the work can be done in your apartment. The easiest way for you is to click the link in the text message or call the contact person listed in the information.
- The work is being carried out.
You don't need to be home while we fix the problem if you allow us to use the master key. If you agree to let us use the master key, the person entering your apartment will ring the doorbell and call out before entering.
For this to work, we need your cell phone number. That’s why it’s important that you go to “My Pages” on our website and update it if necessary, or call our customer service at 0500-47 74 00.
For work that you order
When you report a problem on My Pages or through the customer service center, you can choose at that time whether we may use the master key to enter your home if you are not there.
Other Approaches
We may need to take a different approach to obtain your consent to enter your apartment. In that case, you will receive information about it on the notice you’ll get when the work in question is scheduled to be carried out in your apartment.
