Complete Renovation of Fältskären

The historic Fältskären house, Fältskären 1906, Trängen on Trängen . This was the site of Skövde’s first hospital—but since Skövdebostäder took over the building, it has been used as student apartments.

Due to the need for major renovations, we have vacated the building, and the student tenants who lived there have been relocated to other apartments. We are now undertaking extensive work in collaboration with Asplunds Bygg, with 39 apartments being renovated. Among other things, the apartments will receive new kitchens and bathrooms. We plan to welcome the new student tenants in the fall of 2024. They will then move into newly renovated apartments, where we have retained much of the old-world charm with high ceilings and preserved details.
