Tips for Storing Items in a Storage Unit
- Always lock your storage unit, even if you're not using it. That way, you'll avoid having others leave items there that, in the worst-case scenario, you'll have to deal with when you move.
- Avoid placing cardboard boxes and crates directly on the floor. They can be damaged by moisture or water in the event of a water leak.
- Do not store your most valuable belongings in the storage room. This is to minimize the risk of theft or damage to valuable items.
