Apartment storage

Storage areas associated with the apartment may vary depending on the residential area. Sometimes all storage space is located inside the apartment, but often the apartment’s storage area is located outside—sometimes even in a different building.

If you have a storage unit in your apartment building, it is labeled with the same number as on your apartment door, which is part of your unit number. If you’re unsure where your storage unit is located, you’re always welcome to contact your building manager.

If you need to rent an additional storage unit, you can easily submit an expression of interest on My Pages.

Tips for Storing Items in a Storage Unit

  • Always lock your storage unit, even if you're not using it. That way, you'll avoid having others leave items there that, in the worst-case scenario, you'll have to deal with when you move.
  • Avoid placing cardboard boxes and crates directly on the floor. They can be damaged by moisture or water in the event of a water leak.
  • Do not store your most valuable belongings in the storage room. This is to minimize the risk of theft or damage to valuable items.
