Shared laundry room

Many of our neighborhoods have communal laundry rooms. You can find your nearest laundry room on the neighborhood map or by asking your building manager.

In some areas, you have your own washing machine in the apartment—and in those cases, there often isn't a shared laundry room.

Important things to keep in mind when doing laundry in our laundry rooms:

  • Start by booking a laundry time slot. The process varies by area—but you can book either on My Pages, via a digital display, or using a laundry lock. Remember never to take someone else’s time slot.
  • Follow the care instructions on the clothing and sort by color.
  • Put bras in a laundry bag so the machine doesn't break.
  • Use just the right amount of detergent. It’s good for the environment, helps your machine last longer, and prevents detergent residue from lingering, which could cause allergies for your neighbors. The correct amount is listed on the detergent package. We have soft water.
  • When you're done doing laundry, be sure to clean up the laundry room. Also, remove the lint from the dryer.
  • Remember to bring everything from the laundry room—for example, all the clothes and the laundry detergent.

Has something broken?

If something is broken or missing in the laundry room, you can file a service request through My Pages or contact the customer service center.

Where is your laundry room (if you have one)?

If you don't have a washing machine in your apartment, you have access to a laundry room somewhere in your area. You may also sometimes have access to a laundry room in another area. Select your area from the drop-down list below and read the details. If you can't find your area, it means you have laundry facilities in your apartment.
