Stairwells – not a place for storage

Because storing items in stairwells poses a fire hazard, it is not permitted to place any objects there. The same applies to attic hallways and basement hallways.

This includes, for example, strollers, bicycles, kick scooters, doormats, shoes, flowers, and similar items.

Instead, use your apartment or your apartment storage room for storage. In some areas, there are designated spaces for items such as bicycles and strollers. Contact your building manager if you’re unsure about the rules in your area.
